The OviTrack Basal Thermometer from Vicks is unlike regular thermometers. It is specifically designed to track basal temperature - your temperature upon awakening in the morning. Tracking basal temperature over a period of time can help determine ovulation timing. And, knowing this can help increase chances of conception. When your temperature rises +0.5° F, then that usually indicates ovulation.
Vicks digital thermometers are designed to be clinically accurate within a range from 90° to 109°F and feature easy-to-read LCD displays. A beep sounds when the thermometer is ready to read and the unit automatically shuts off after non-use to help conserve battery life. A memory function stores the last recorded temperature for later reference.
